The Importance of Clean Water Resources for Human Life

Date:

Around 70% of the world's diseases are spread through water, and unclean water can cause serious damage to the body's various functions. Currently, the improvement of tap water quality in world lags behind the speed of water pollution, artificial water treatment can't keep up with the speed of water pollution, our understanding of viruses can't keep up with the speed of virus mutation, the degradation of organic matter can't keep up with the speed of organic synthesis, and the restoration of the Earth's ecology can't keep up with the damage caused by modern economic development. A drop of water can pollute a bucket of water, and the harm to people after drinking this bucket of water is immeasurable.

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 2,100 pollutants have been found in water so far, and although the concentration of these harmful pollutants is not very high, they accumulate in the human body due to long-term drinking, eventually affecting people's lives and health.

Waterborne diseases account for 80% of all human diseases. More than 40 waterborne diseases worldwide have not been effectively controlled. Every year, 25 million children worldwide get sick and die from drinking contaminated water. 60% of urban residents in China's diseases and sub-health conditions are related to water pollution.

Statistics show that:

- 1.2 billion people worldwide suffer from various diseases due to drinking contaminated water, with a high incidence rate of 20%;

- 80% of global diseases are caused by drinking water pollution;

- 50% of global cancer cases are related to unclean drinking water;

- 50% of child deaths worldwide are caused by drinking contaminated water;

- More than 50 million people worldwide suffer from cholera, dysentery, and malaria caused by water pollution.

- For consumers, we are powerless to change the living environment we are in, but the only thing we can do is to try our best to keep our families away from harm and provide them with healthy drinking water.
